it's been a while ...

its been ages since i've written poetry.
don't ask why. maybe i've just been busy
with the daily goings-on in life, the mundane
visits between la jolla and pq, the pre-req class
at ucsd, the 2 part time jobs, the wedding planning,
the helping plan the bridal showers/bachelorette parties,
the construction around the casa, the food network, the
tv shows that i may not watch after fall, the graduate apps,
the dealing with ambi avvi not being around, the visit of
mysore thathi to sd, the 2.5 year anniversary ... i've been
wrapped up. i need to be better at writing poem/prose or
at least an entry now and then instead of many posts all at
once. i need to be better. this is a goal i wish to fulfill.
promise you, i will.
