kelli anderson is an artist, designer, and tinkerer who pushes the limits of ordinary objects and materials. her award winning designs have been shown at several galleries in and around new york city and, in 2009, she made headlines when her team, the yes men, won the ars electronica prix award of distinction for distributing a meticulously recreated copy of the new york times -- filled only with articles from a utopian universe. she is currently an art history instructor at the pratt institute and runs a design studio which houses a 1919 letterpress and “an assortment of other benevolent contraptions.”
